Story

PMP are taking part in Sleep Easy and raising money to help combat youth homelessness in the Black Country. We'll receive two cardboard boxes each to create a shelter for the night and spend 12 hours in a car park, to experience what it can be like for vulnerable young people who have nowhere else to go. It's sure to be a chilly night and all money raised goes towards helping the young people in YMCAs into a better future. Please donate what you can - it all helps!

Sleep Easy - Moving Forward Fund - YMCA Black Country Group

Sleep Easy is an annual fundraising event, where YMCA ask participants to spend one night sleeping in a car park, to raise awareness and funds to help end youth homelessness. 

All money raised from our Sleep Easy events, goes towards the Moving Forward Fund, which provides YMCA residents with access to money for essential items to support their move-on journey. This could include white goods or furniture for their new home, a new suit for a job interview or a bicycle in order to get to work. These items, though they may seem small to many, can be the make or break of a successful move-on for our residents.
