TIME TO CHALLENGE YOURSELF IN 2025
Take on the UK Three Peaks – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) in 24 hours, while raising vital funds to help young people in the Black Country build a brighter future.
To confirm your space, a £50 deposit fee must be paid by 1st October 2024. This early payment allows ample time to start raising sponsorship and begin training. In addition to the deposit fee, there is a minimum commitment to raise £400. Details of what this fee covers are provided below.
The cost of the challenge includes:
- YMCA Three Peaks Challenge T-shirt
- Ideas for maximising your fundraising
- Opportunity to take part in pre-organised training hikes before the challenge
- A specific training programme and nutritional advice
- Transport arrangements from YMCA to/from the mountains
- Accommodation before/after the event
- 2 x Mountain Guides
- Photos/Videos of the experience
The total cost per person to take part in this challenge is £400. The YMCA will be seeking to cover this cost via our corporate sponsors so that all of the fundraising raised will contribute to our Brighter Futures Fund, supporting the delivery of youth activities and mentoring in the heart of deprived communities, specifically designed to tackle the challenges young people have identified as important to them.
We have set an ambitious target of £20,000.
Join us in this incredible challenge and make a real difference in the lives of young people!
Following the 1st October 2024 deadline for signing up for this challenge, a Three Peaks information pack containing a full itinerary, training plans, nutritional advice and more will be sent out to you closer to the challenge date.
Please feel free to reach out to Grace Maddocks with any questions regarding the challenge at grace.maddocks@ymcabc.org.uk.
